Job Description – National Dealer Development Manager

The Role
We are looking for passionate and seasoned people to make a strategy to  build our partner network.  The candidate would be required to structure the complete   programme.  This role also requires identification and on boarding of financing partners to enable acceleration of sales through dealers.

  • Industry experience in the Automotive domain, specific to EV’s is a must.
  • Exposure to Marketing & Sales and dealer handling domains is a plus.

 

Responsibilities:
To structure the entire Dealer appointment program  (qualification criterion / assessment forms , Security Deposits Show room size , Manpower , Service centres , Initial stocking , Marketing , Branding  etc. )

 

  • Dealership termination criterion
  • Work closely with RSM’s to identify the locations for new appointments
  • Annual plan for dealer appointment at designated locations
  • Lead generation & qualification of these leads jointly with sales
  • On boarding of new dealers (Manpower Training – Market overview, Sales, Product, Service, MoU / agreement Signing etc)
  • Setting up targets / AOP’s for new dealer’s / performance management
  • Identification & On boarding the financial partners

 

KRA’s –

Number of new appointments in the designated locations on monthly / quarterly basis,

Number of financial parties on boarded

B2C sales through channel partners

 

Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have managed partners preferably in the automotive industry. The candidate should have the following skills sets:

  • Automotive industry knowledge with exposure to Electric Mobility
  • Managing partners in the automotive domain
  • Financing partners’ on boarding & identification
  • Excellent understanding of cross-industry IoT/ technology trends
  • Understanding of Connected, Autonomous, Shared Mobility, & Electric Mobility (business & technology)
  • Solid view on the future of Electric Mobility
  • 15+ years of domain experience as specified above
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to engage with the Business, / Sales teams in a healthy way to drive product evolution

Qualifications & Experience – B.E (Mechanical / Equivalent) and or MBA in Marketing with 15-20 years in Automobile Industry.
