Regional Sales Manager – West


The Role

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to expand our customer base and network expansion to achieve the designated sales quotas. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience managing large customer accounts & Channel Partners while taking accountability for meeting targets. You should also be able to remotely supervise a team of salespeople and set profitable goals. Our ideal candidate combines excellent communication skills with a strategic mindset. You will ensure that your area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to our company’s success in the long run.

Responsibilities
• Manage the sales revenue in the assigned geography.
• Lead the Dealer Development & manage the key accounts in the assigned region
• Provide leadership to the sales team of Channel Account Managers & Key Account Managers.
• Analyse regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
• Develop and manage the regional sales funnel in line with Monthly/quarterly & annual goals.
• Provide product-wise quarterly & monthly forecast for the assigned customers
• Ensure dealer ROI
• Assign sales quotas to the team and review the KPI’s/KRA
• Identify the hiring needs & train / hand hold the existing team members.
• Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction
• Maintain a healthy customer satisfaction index in the assigned region
• Prepare & achieve an annual operating plan for the assigned customers
• Manage state approvals for the new products in the assigned region
• Develop new financing Partners & Closely work with the existing financing partners to enable B2B/B2C & B2G business

Requirements
• Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, or similar senior sales role
• Ability to assign, measure and analyse key performance indicators
• Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Availability to travel as needed
• BE (Mechanical/Automobile) or MBA (Sales) or Both

Qualification & Experience – B.E (Mechanical / Equivalent) and or MBA in Marketing with 15 to 20 years in Automobile / Equivalent Industry
