Uday Narang

Uday Narang

Founder, Omega Seiki Mobility

Born in New Delhi Uday is an MBA in Finance from Stonybrook University, New York. Uday initially made his mark in the commodity and energy trading industry, where he gained widespread acclaim as one of the world’s most innovative fund managers in electricity, at a time when deregulation was taking hold of the US markets.
He founded Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) in 2018. Nurturing it to become the Tesla of the East for cargo vehicles the company is based in New Delhi with a vision to build a Pan Asia brand.
He went on to lead oil, gas and power trading portfolios in several leading trading firms in America before moving to Europe as the President of a major energy trading corporation.


Uday’s keen eye for right partners who share his passion for growth and mutual rewards, has resulted in the consistent evolution and unrivalled growth of the Anglian brand. While keeping the existing automotive parts business rising to new heights, Uday entered the world of electric vehicles with the OSM brand with the pure electric three-wheeler Rage+. This was followed by India’s first refrigerated electric vehicle – Rage+ Frost.


He further plans to expand OSM to enter B2B business with two-wheelers, while also bringing a pure-electric Made-in-India medium and heavy commercial vehicle.

Dr Deb Mukherji

Dr Deb Mukherji

Managing Director, Omega Seiki Mobility

An industry veteran, Dr Deb Mukherji is the Managing Director at Omega Seiki Mobility, India’s fastest growing last mile connectivity solutions provider. An IIT Delhi alumnus, Deb received his PhD from Jamia Millia Islamia.


He uses a data driven approach in working towards India’s Switch to Electric. A firm advocate of Make in India, his guidance has been instrumental in birth of Rage+ and Rage+ Frost, Omega Seiki’s indigenously developed electric three-wheeler cargo vehicles running on clean energy.


A regular speaker at industry events, Deb believes in enhancing industry competitiveness by using technological innovations paving the way to Industry 4.0. Deb has also played a key role in setting up several greenfield facilities in India as well as around the world, including Mexico and Thailand.

Richard Gerstenberg

CEO, Omega Seiki Mobility Europe

Richard was born and raised in Germany. He holds an MBA in Economics from the University of Witten and a Harvard Business School certificate in Corporate Performance. Richard is a team player who engages all parties in his plans.

Richard built and oversaw a Generics Sales Force of 30 in Northern Japan. He also chaired the alliances and co-commercialization committee with business partners, including Pfizer. Richard was the VP of Marketing & Sales with clients in more than 30 countries. He was also a GP Sales Representative in Sydney and the District Sales Manager of an award-winning team on the Central Coast of Australia.

He has been associated with several other brands including the likes of Nippon Hexal Corporation, Mitsui and Co, Gerstenberg Consulting, and Boehringer Ingelheim, among others.

He has a vision for planning and implementing projects, and he is passionate about improving the health and welfare of others. He understands how to align marketing (strategies) with sales (Execution). Richard has been felicitated with the 2007 Asia Pacific Balanced Scorecard Hall of Fame Award.

Richard is also an avid cyclist and loves gardening. He is also a black belt holder in Akkido, a Japanese martial art form.

Gary Donald Neal

Vice President – Operational Excellence

Gary Donald Neal is Omega Seiki Mobility’s Vice President for Operational Excellence. With his rich experience in the Aerospace Industry for more than 4 decades. He will drive efficiency and improve performance in operations. He has worked with several German aviation companies and has a strong background in process improvement methodologies. He has led numerous successful projects with Boeing to streamline processes and reduce costs.

 

Gary is a result-oriented leader who is dedicated to driving continuous improvement and creating a culture of excellence within the organisation.

 

With a degree in both mechanical and electrical engineering, he has a deep understanding of the intricacies of production processes and the importance of efficiency in operations.

Vivek Dhawan

Vivek Dhawan​

Director, Sales, Marketing and Service, OSM

Coming from a background of Electrical Engineering Vivek Dhawan went on to finish his PBM in Marketing from IIM Bangalore. An early starter in the field of electric vehicles, Vivek has a keen knowledge of the ecosystem.


Before joining OSM, Vivek has been associated with several multinational companies including the likes of Siemens, Crompton Greaves, and Panasonic.


Growing up in the Union Territory of Chandigarh he is a firm believer in planning and is tasked with bringing in a new breath of life in the organisation structure of Omega Seiki Mobility. Adding to the icing on the cake is his nearly three decade of industry experience in the fields of sales and service.

Nida Khanam

CHRO, Omega Seiki Mobility

Ms Nida Khanam, OSM’s CHRO, is the key behind the company’s massive expansion drive as it gears up for the next phase of growth. Her focus is on building human & leadership  capabilities at OSM. She is driving the HR strategy & culture of employee value proposition.

She is continuously working on transforming the organisation & enabling Business growth.

Previously, Ms Nida Khanam has been associated with organisations like Grohe India – Lixil , Rockwell Automation India & Jindal Stainless Ltd. Khanam carries over 18 years of HR leadership and transformation across industries & culture. She is an IIM-C and AMU alumnus. She is a certified & credentialed Coach from NeuroLeadership Institute & International Coaching Federation, USA.

Kushal

Kushal Muchhal

Vice President, Strategy and M&A

Having close to a decade of experience with right blend of top consulting and corporate experience with large MNCs, Kushal brings with him rich experience of M&A, Business Strategy & Planning, Fund Raising, IPOs, Corporate Finance, Corporate Laws and Stakeholder Management. At OSM, he is playing a vital role in company’s aggressive growth journey with focus on fund raising, strategic partnerships, new projects and initiatives.

Hailing from Kolkata, he is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and pursuing his CFA (US) to further feed his hunger for knowledge. Before joining OSM, Kushal has worked with large companies like KPMG, Essar Group and Pantomath Capital.

During his last stint, Kushal has led marquee transaction in industries such as EV, FMCG, Building Materials, Logistics, Renewables, Industrial Machineries to name a few. He was instrumental from end-to-end in these transactions which involved global Private Equity and VCs. He also has extensive experience in Capital Markets and M&A.

During his previous experiences, Kushal has always worked with Top Leaderships which has nurtured him quite early-on in his career to take leadership roles. His sharp business and financial acumen will further fuel growth of OSM.

Dr Ramesh Singh

Vice President, Motor Engineering Division

Dr. Ramesh Singh was born in Varanasi and completed his schooling in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. Further, he received his Bachelor of Engineering from REC Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh. He also earned a Master of Technology degree from NIT Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Subsequently, he earned a Ph.D. Degree from Delhi Technological University, Delhi.

 

During his PhD he developed a mathematical model of the Six Phase Induction Machine in MATLAB and tested the developed model in motoring as well as generating mode under balanced and unbalanced conditions of supply/load. Besides, he developed a finite element model of Six Phase Machine in Motorsolve and analyzed the machine under different operating conditions. Further he designed and developed a hardware prototype of the Asymmetrical Six Phase Induction Machine, tested and calculated the different performance indices for the same machine in generating mode in both standalone, grid coupled mode, and with BESS.

 

He has an experience of 21 years prior to joining us, in different prestigious universities, where he was in different academic roles. He has research papers published in reputable journals in his name. He is also an active IEEE Senior Member USA and represents as Ambassador to IEEE Smart Cities USA.

Neeraj Kumar Budhiraja

CFO, Omega Seiki Mobility

Neeraj Budhiraja is an enthusiastic and result oriented finance management professional having over 23 years of experience in finance and accounts, Risk control management, ERP systems, auditing and taxation. Working at various senior levels, Neeraj had been instrumental in designing policies and procedures during his tenure with Gabriel, Aristocrat and Reckitt Benckiser.

A Post Graduate in Business Management (Finance) from Symbiosis, Pune, and certified professional in Applied Financial Risk Management from IIM Kozhikode, Neeraj joined Omega Seiki Mobility in May 2020 as Chief financial officer in Omega group of companies.

Linking organisation’s strategic mission and vision to measurable financial goals, Neeraj is leading Omega Seiki Mobility to great heights and achieve operating results ensuring financial equilibrium.

Avinash Chopra

Head - Mobility

Avinash Chopra is an accomplished veteran with over 25 years of experience in Business Development roles, with a focus on the Electric Vehicles (EVs) domain. He also has a track record of developing and leading highly successful teams while consistently surpassing sales goals.


In addition to his primary responsibilities, he has also garnered considerable prowess in the areas of Tender & Contract Development, as well as New Market Development and Go-To-Market Strategies.


Joining Omega Seiki Mobility as the Mobility Head, he brings his end-to-end knowledge of Vehicle Operations (Logistics), Sales and Business Management, Charging and Parking Infrastructure, and much more. He is a vital part of the company’s push in becoming globally No.1 Logistics Services.
